Alagappa University, established by the Government of Tamil Nadu under an Act of the State Legislature in 1985, and located on a sprawling expanse of about 420 acres in the business town of Karaikudi in Sivaganga District in Tamilnadu is ideally suited for higher education.Alagappa University is conducted Entrance Examination for PG and UG Program for the academic year of 2015.Applications are invited by Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu for admissions to the following Post Graduate/Graduate programmes offered in the University Departments and Constituent Colleges for the academic year 2015-16.Alagappa University are instructed to apply in the prescribed format for the Pre-Registration Qualifying Entrance Examination -2015.

Alagappa University Entrance Examination Admission Procedure – 2015 :

For UG / PG Courses

The candidate may seek admission either directly to the University or through any one of the approved Study Centers. The list of Approved Study Centers is placed in this website.

If the candidates enroll directly with the University, the Course Materials shall be directly sent to them and they have to attend the Contact Classes at Karaikudi.

If candidates enroll through Study Centers, the Course Materials shall be sent through the Study Centers and they have to attend the Contact Classes arranged by the Study Centers at their places.

The following documents are to be enclosed along with the filled-in application :

The original entry qualification of HSC / Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested by the Gazetted Officer. ( Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification )

Student Index Card with stamp size photo and signature affixed.

Demand Draft for the prescribed total fees drawn in favour of the Director, DDE, Alagappa University, payable on any bank at Karaikudi.

No Transfer Certificate is required for admission to any of the Courses
