Master of Science in Information Technology ( MSIT ) programme is being offered by “Consortium of Institutions of Higher Learning” ( CIHL ), formed by the universities in Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with leading universities from across the globe. MSIT aims to produce skilled Professionals who have knowledge of the core principles underlying information technology and an understanding of emerging industry trends. The MSIT ( MS in IT or Master of Science in Information Technology ) is a two year post graduate programme in Computer Science. MSIT is an innovative multi-university interdisciplinary post-graduate programme. MSIT offers the latest domains specializations on par with international universities. Computer Networks and security as a domain specialization is offered for the first time in the state only in MSIT. Bio-Informatics, Software Engineering and E-commerce are also the domains which have very high demand in the current software industry. The detailed MSIT – 2015 Entrance Examination is briefly described as follows.

The candidate can apply for either of the tests or both as mentioned below:

1. Walk-in Entrance test

2. Regular Entrance test

Walk-in Entrance test

Phone : 040-23243010 with a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft ( DD ) of Rs. 1000/- from a nationalized bank drawn in favour of 'CIHL', payable at Hyderabad.

If the candidate is satisfied with scores which he / she got through Walk-in Entrance then he / she can take regular entrance test which will be conducted from 23-05-2015, he / she needs to apply online ( should take another DD for Rs. 1000/- ) .

However the best of the scores would be considered for final ranking.

The walk-in entrance will be conducted from 16th April on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week upto 22-05-2015.

Regular Entrance test

The regular entrance test will be conducted from 23-05-2015 onwards. Candidates applying for this test have to submit the Application in either of the following two modes.

After applying online, send a nonrefundable crossed D.D of Rs. 1000, drawn in favor of "CIHL", on any scheduled bank payable at Hydrabad by speed post only to the address given below.
