Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA)

Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is conducted every year by the Anna University. Through TNEA 2019, candidates can get admission in the engineering undergraduate courses after class 12th. No entrance exam is conducted from many years to offer admissions. The counselling will be organized by the Anna University for providing admission in various Engineering colleges in the state of Tamilnadu.

Anna University is in charge of this counselling. Thus, eligible candidates who wish to take admission in UG courses in the state of Tamil Nadu have in the academic session 2019-20, must apply for TNEA 2019. For PG admission in engineering, a common entrance examination – TANCET 2019 is conducted by Anna University. But for UG admission candidates don’t have to go through any such entrance test. TNEA 2019 will be their only gateway for admission in engineering undergraduate courses after class 12th. TNEA 2019 Certificate Verification

TNEA 2019 Certificate Verification:

The candidates who have registered themselves for TNEA 2019 will have to get their documents verified at the TFCs. The candidates who successfully submit their application on time, an e-call letter will be generated for them, containing the date, time and venue of their certificate verification center (maybe the nearest TFC). An email/ SMS will also be sent on the registered email id/ phone number regarding the same.

The following certificates (original and photocopy) should be produced at the time of Certificate Verification at TNEA Facilitation Center (TFC).

·         TNEA 2019 Application form

·         10th Mark Sheet

·         HSC/ Equivalent Mark Sheet

·         HSC Hall Ticket

·         Transfer Certificate

·         Community Certificate for ST/ SC/ SCA/ MBC/ DNC/ BC/ BCM (Permanent card/ electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate)

·         Nativity Certificate in electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate (If applicable)

·         First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (in electronic form/ digitally signed e-Certificate) (If applicable)

·         Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee certificate (If applicable)

·         Relevant certificates for children of Ex-Serviceman, Differently Abled Person and Eminent Sports Persons

·         Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar (for Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee)

·         Those who have not registered in the refugee camp should produce original passport, visa and letter registered with Police Station (Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee)
