Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical, Postgraduate Dental Entrance Exam ( MH PGMPGDCET )

Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Common Entrance Test ( MH PGM PGD CET ) 2012 is an Entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra University. Maharashtra State conducts the PGM and PGD common entrance exam for the candidates admission for the Post Graduate Medical courses and the Post Dental courses such as MD ( Doctor of Medicine ), MS ( Master of Surgery ), PG Diploma ( Postgraduate Diploma ) Program commencing session 2012 - 13.

For PGM-CET – 2015

The candidate should present personally to fill the preference form ( Proxy will not be permitted ). The candidate should submit only one preference form. Submission of more than one preference form shall lead to disqualification.

 The preference form brochure shall be available at the office of the Designated Authority, i.e. Grant Medical College, Mumbai, B.J.Medical College Pune, Govt. Medical College, Nagpur & Govt. Medical College, Aurangabad. Candidates should download copy of preference form brochure and read the same carefully

At the time of filling the Preference form the candidate should bring all original documents and a set of attested copies of the same in support of claim made in application form i.e. Caste Certificate,  Caste Validity Certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate.

If the matter is still pending with Hon'ble Court, candidate should submit a fresh Court order for PGM-CET 2015, failing which claim will not be granted and the candidate will be considered as General Category candidate.

Registration Certificate ( MMC /  MCI )

Certificate from Head of Institute showing that the Medical College /  Institute from which the candidate has passed MBBS examination is recognized by Medical Council of India.

Medical Fitness

Under taking for number of attempts and bond service.

Caste Certificate

Caste Validity Certificate. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate ( for ( VJ ) DT -A, ( NT-1 ) NT-B, ( NT-2 ) NTC, ( NT-3 ) NT-D, OBC and SBC Candidates) issued by appropriate authority as specified in the Government Resolution No. CBC- 10 / 2008 / CR-697 VJNT-1, dated 24th June, 2013 and should be valid up to 31 / 3 / 2015.

( a ) AIEE selection letter / letter from Dean / Principal stating that the candidate was admitted for MBBS under 15% quota from All India Entrance Examination.

( b ) Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State by virtue of residence, in case of Candidates who were Domicile of Maharashtra State at the time of MBBS admission and were admitted under 15% AIEE quota in a medical college / institution situated outside Maharashtra State and who have obtained their degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra.

For Persons with disability ( PWD ) Candidates - Medical Fitness Certificate.

Bond release Certificate from DMER, Mumbai or proof of penalty amount paid to Dean For Constitutional reservation category candidates: Ear-Marking - Reserved category candidate entitled to admission on the basis of merit in an open category seat will have the option of taking admission either against his / her respective category seat or on an open category seat. If he / she opts for the reserved category he / she will be deemed to have been admitted as an open category candidate and not as reserved category candidate. One seat in the college where he / she was eligible for admission against open seat shall be earmarked for a candidate belonging to the respective reserved category.  Such earmarked seat will be made available immediately to the successive reserved category candidate from the same category merit.

Based on preferences given, the seats will be allotted on merit and the allotment will be displayed on website of DMER.

All the candidates to whom a seat has been allotted in the 1st round on the basis of Merit-cum-Preference will have to compulsorily join the college and course so allotted, with in prescribed period by completing the requisite formalities.

It is made clear that even if a candidate to whom a seat has been allotted in the 1st round wants a betterment of his / her choice, such a candidate must initially accept the allotment and join the college by completing the necessary formalities as set out by these Rules, DMER, Mumbai - 13 - PGM-CET-2015 Brochure failing which such a candidate will be thrown out of the entire admission process of the current academic year 2015-2016.

 If any candidate to whom a seat has been allotted in the 1st round does not join the college and course seat so allotted, it will be presumed that such a candidate is not interested in the admission process and for all further round( s ) of admission; such candidate shall not be considered for allotment of any seat whatsoever.

 The seat so allotted to such a candidate who does not join, will be presumed to be a vacant seat as on and from the next date after the date set out as the last date for joining the college in terms of   such allotment. Such a vacant seat will be allotted in the next round of admission process within prescribed period.

All the candidates who have filled the preference form and to whom a seat could not be allotted in the round will be held eligible for allotment of a seat in the subsequent Round( s ).

After the first Preference Form round, Competent Authority may conduct subsequent preference round( s ), based on the same preference form. For aforesaid round those candidates how have not joint / resigned after allotment of seat( s ) will not be considered eligible.

Cut-off date for the eligibility: The eligibility of the candidate shall be determined and / or decided for all purposes including for applicability of all these Rules and Regulations by considering the last date of document verification as the cutoff date.

It is made abundantly clear that if a candidate is found ineligible as on the last date of document verification process, in terms of these Rules and Regulation, and if such an ineligible candidate acquires the requisite eligibility after the aforesaid cutoff date ( i.e. the last date of document verification ), such subsequent acquisition of eligibility will not make an ineligible candidate eligible for any purpose whatsoever, much less for the purpose of admission.

For PGD-CET – 2015
