UPSC 2017 Civil Service Exam is the gateway to All India Services like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service (IFS) and 22 other Central Services. The UPSC IAS Prelim 2017 exam is going to conduct on 18th June 2017 and IAS Main Exam will be held on 28th October 2017 (Tentatively). The IAS stands for Indian Administrator Service. The purpose of this recruitment is to select the best suitable candidate for the Indian Administration Unit who will give their contribution in serving the country. It is the national level platform which elects the exam i.e. civil services examination, Engineering service examination, naval academy examination, Officers’ training academy examination and combined defense services examination. Its official website is www.upsc.gov.in. Union Public Service Commission has released the Indian Civil Services notification 2017. Total 980 vacancies are announced by the UPSC this year. CSE 2019 Features

UPSC Selection Procedure:

The IAS 2017 Selection Procedure comprises three consecutive levels:

1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam: This is the 1st stage to shortlist candidates for IAS / Civil Services Main examination. This exam will be available with objective type questions. 

2. Civil Services (Main) Exam: This is a 2nd stage to shortlist candidates for next level. This exam consists of written examination and personal interview.

  2. Personal Interview

3. Final Selection: The total number of marks scored by the candidates in the IAS Main examination (Both written test and personal interview) will be taken into an opinion for final merit list. The candidate's selection based on the final merit.??
