Cauvery College of Engineering and Technology

Cauvery College of Engineering and Technology was established at Tiruchirappalli in 2008 with the aim of providing value added technical education with a flair of professional excellence and ethical values.The Institute is a co-educational self financial institution, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college founded specially to uplift the rural backward communities with impeccable quality of teaching and thereby making them employed in good companies and royal industries. The mission of the college is to impart technical education in par with other excelling Colleges/Universities in Tamilnadu in particular and international universities in general by producing quality, cost, schedule & latest awareness conscious Engineers and Technocrats to serve mankind in general and our mother India in particular. Our vision is to establish “Engineering & Technology for mankind” and provide technical education to all in general especially to poor & downtrodden students from rural background.

Cauvery College of Engineering and Technology has separate hostels for Boys and Girls inside the campus, with well furnished and spacious rooms. The hostels have excellent water facility, modern kitchen and dining. The students are provided with the choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The rooms are furnished with individual cots, tables, chairs, and bureau. Importance is given in maintaining discipline and security of the students. The resident warden of each hostel takes care to see that all the needs of the students are met and a homely atmosphere with a sense of security is created. Immediate medical care is given to hostel students on requirement. The placement cell of Cauvery is constituted to provide the right perspective regarding the various career options available to the students and sufficiently train them to choose and pursue their careers of choice. The training program encompasses a three stage process to train the students to make them ready for the industry and develop the etiquettes of the corporate world. The placement department supports students with resources and ideas, a database, notification of new placements etc.
