A.R. Engineering College

AR Engineering College is one of the institutions of Sri Venkatachalapathy Educational Trust. The college is affiliated with Anna University of Technology, Chennai. It has a decade of experience in running Sri Venkatachalapathy Polytechnic College, which is a successful pioneer institution in Villupuram District. The college central library is a vast storehouse of knowledge with over 12000 books. The library also has the facility of searching the books and journals, online using the library Open Access System (OPAC).

Training and placement cell plays a vital role in scouting and locating job opportunities for the young graduates by keeping cooperation with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The college conducted many off campus job fair at the college premises .Many reputed companies like CTS, ZOHO, Ford India, HCl Info Pvt , ITC, Lucas Tvs, Wipro  etc. were invited to the job fair and more than 500 candidates were placed so far.
