The Polytechnic has started working from the academic session 2009-10 and has been established under the aegis of Awasthi Educational Society, Nalagarh. It is located on hill top of Nalagarh and is at distance of 2 Kms from Nalagarh bus stand , near ITI, Nalagarh. It is just 20 Kms from Chandigarh by road and is well connected by frequent bus service from all point of Himachal Pradesh and other neighbouring states.
