AL - Ameen Engineering College, Erode was founded by AL - Ameen educational and charitable trust in 1984 by philanthropists from various professionals and industrialists, with an objective of providing quality technical education to the all sections of society in and around Erode. Adding incentive to these efforts of the trust is the newly-proposed Al-Ameen engineering college, aimed at excelling in imparting technical education for everyone in the nation, regardless of social status. The vision of the college is endeavor to evolve as a globally competent technical university and to build centre of excellence in Engineering, Technology, Applied Science and Management. The mission is committing to achieve sterling standards in Academics, Research and other Social service activities besides being poised to produce outstanding and holistic professionals.

The college provides placement assistance under the supervision of an experienced placement officer. To facilitate the students with ongoing industrial situations and evolutions they are being provided with institute-industry interface to familiarize about the corporate world/practices. RO Plant is implanted for the provision of mineral water supply. The college offers the merit scholarship for the applicable students. AL - Ameen Engineering College has separate hostels available for Boys and Girls inside the campus, with well furnished and spacious rooms. The hostels have excellent water facility, modern kitchen and dining. The students are provided with the choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The rooms are furnished with individual cots, tables, chairs, and bureau. Importance is given in maintaining discipline and security of the students. The resident warden of each hostel takes care to see that all the needs of the students are met and a homely atmosphere with a sense of security is created. Immediate medical care is given to hostel students on requirement. The college committed to the total upliftment of the society by imparting quality professional education, aiming at modeling totally competent professionals with ingenuity, adaptability, social commitment and ethical spiritual values by creating a congenial academic ambience that kindles innovative thinking, continually upgrade the quality management system through empowerment and involvement.
