Arasu Engineering College is an engineering college located on Chennai Main Road in Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was ranked the No.2 engineering education provider in India by the Indian Government Educational Survey Board in 2009, closely behind IIT (Nagpur).

Arasu Engineering College, Kumbakonam was established by Sri Thirunavukkarasu Dhanalakshmi Educational and Charitable Trust in 1999. It was registered as a public charitable trust in 2000 It is the first engineering college started in the Kumbakonam.

It is an engineering colleges affiliated to the Anna University, Tiruchirapalli. The campus is spread over 50 acres. Arasu Engineering College offers programmes that have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education with three programmes at the undergraduate level in 2001. The college at present offers six undergraduate programmes, with the approval of AICTE and Anna University Tiruchirapalli.
