Ashoka International Centre for Educational Studies and Research, Wadala was established in 2008. In the educational preparation of today’s students to become competent and caring citizens of tomorrow, the quality of teacher education that AICESR provide needs to ensure that the end-products (graduates) of our education acquire not only the desired knowledge and skills required of a technically competent practitioner, but also the desired attitudes and mindsets to learning. In addition, their graduates are expected to show a more caring attitude in their student management and interaction with members of the institutional and social team. For this reason, the decision to establish the Ashoka International Centre for Educational Studies and Research (A.I.C.E.S.R) is yet another testimony to their continued quest in promoting professionalism and excellence in teacher education in which the concern for educational developments, use of technology and educational management, is now a significant feature of our proposal to implement the innovative programmes in the teacher education field.

Ashoka Education Foundation is an initiative to revolutionize the educational environment, by not only equipping the students with information, mental and spiritual strength and with contemporary skills, but also empowering their personality with a VISION. A Vision to be a contributor in making India a Super Power by 2020. In its efforts, AEF has started the Ashoka Universal Schools at Ashoka House. Wadala and Chandsi. We are dedicated in preparing our children to meet global challenges by retaining within themselves their Indian sanskar. Education in Ashoka is an on-going effort towards further developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner. And also produce individuals who are intellectually,spiritually,emotionally and physically balanced and harmonious, based on a firm belief in God and Indian culture and ethos. Such an effort is designed to produce citizens who are knowledgeable and competent, who posses high moral standards and who are responsible and capable of achieving high levels of personal well-beings as well as being able to contribute to the harmony and betterment of the family,the society and the nation at large.
