Bethany Medical Centre (BMC) is situated at Anaikatty hills, 30 Kms from the cotton city of Coimbatore.  Bethany Medical Centre, a project of Tribal Welfare Trust, was established in 1990 as a registered non- profit, Christian charitable organization with a view to provide low cost, high quality medical care to the tribal population and an equal number of other settlers, who are mainly small business men who live in about 150 villages in and around Anaikatty on either side of the Tamil Nadu Kerala border. From a humble beginning of only an outpatient department, it has now grown into a fully fledged secondary care hospital.
