About College

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Siruseri was established in 1989 as a part of the SPIC Science Foundation, funded by the SPIC group in Chennai Chennai. Mathematical Institute is a centre of excellence for teaching and research in the mathematical sciences. Since 1996, it has been an autonomous institution. The Chennai Mathematical Institute is located in the SIPCOT IT Park in Siruseri on the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), also known as Rajiv Gandhi Salai or IT Highway. Siruseri is on the southern outskirts of the city, approximately 40 kms from the Chennai Central station and about 30 kms from the airport. Kelambakkam is 5 km further south of Siruseri.
