Chintamanrao College of Commerce

The College has been named after Raja of Sangli-Late Padmabhushan Shrimant Chintamanrao Patwardhan. The College is being run by the Deccan Education Society, Pune and is affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The college is situated on Sangli-Miraj road and a fair frequency of city-bus service conveniently connects it with both the cities. Separate divisions have been started for students desiring to receive instructions in English medium. This is the only Commerce College in this area offering the English medium facility. The college is committed to provide quality education to the students and make continuous, systematic efforts for achieving improvement in the quality of education.

Pioneer in Management Education:-

       CCCS had successfully conducted DBM course after 1970 for almost 25 years. MBA was also launched in this college in the year 1984. This college was the first institution, which pioneered management education in Sangli District. Hundreds of students from all over India had taken management education from this college. These courses were transferred to a new sister institute.

Infrastructure:-

       CCCS is equipped with all the facilities needed to impart management education and run the courses such as BBA, MBA and DBM etc. Our seminar hall is equipped with Audio - Visual facilities. Velankar Auditorium is best suited to conduct special academic and cultural events. This college is having sufficient number of class rooms and other facilities to accommodate such courses.
