Dr. Paul Raj Engineering College (DPREC),  Bhadrachalam was established in 1997. It was established by Late Rev. Dr. Satish Paul Raj to impart technical education to the students in the agency area and thus contribute for the development the down trodden. College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The highest priority is given to quality education and the well being of its students.

The vision of the college is to impart high quality Engineering education and equip the students with necessary skills and capabilities to contribute in technologically advancing global market. The mission of the college is to produce highly disciplined, responsible, technologically superior, ethically strong and skilled Engineering graduates in the nation building to improve the quality of life.
