About College

Duvvuru Ramanamma Women's (DRW) College, Gudur, which was the first affiliated college under Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) limits, has been granted autonomous status from the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college which started in 1981, is offering nine undergraduate and an equal number of post-graduate courses, six UGC career-oriented programmes and 15 need-based oriented programmes. The college was running with 1,700 students and a hostel with an intake capacity of 1,000 students, said college Principal K. Meher Mani.

D.R.W. College was the first institution to get NAAC accreditation and was re-accreditated in 2010. The institution management is organising a programme on the eve of conferment of autonomous status, on the college premises on October 6.
