Ganapathy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology run by Salai Muthukumar Chettiar Educational Trust, Paramakudi was established with a noble intention of serving the society by providing education to the needy, regardless of community, caste, creed, or religion. The college is providing Technical Education of high quality to the youth of Tamilnadu specially those living in the rural suburbs of Tamilnadu. This objective has been transformed into reality by the sustained and focused efforts of Mr. G. Muruganantham, Chairman of the Trust. The institute is built at Paramakudi in Tamilnadu, in a sprawling areas of 60 acres with modern facilities.

Ganapathy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology visualizes growing, in future, to an internationally recognized seat of higher learning in Engineering, Technology & Science.
