Gargi Institute of Science & Technology (GIST) Bhopal has been established by Shri Charookarn Education Society. The founders have a deep faith in imparting modern and professional education to the young persons, especially to the women.The Institute has been named after the learned lady Vidushi Gargi, who herself was well versed in Vedas and Upnishads. Gargi Institute of Science & Technology, (GIST) has been located in lush-green area quite close to State Sports Complex and Judicial Academy. It is less than 10 km from the fashionable city–centre of New Bhopal. The area has good academic ambience.
