About College

The Govt. Ripudaman College, Nabha was established in 1946. The College is affiliated to Punjab University, Patiala. It is a government funded institution. The college was established by the management with an aim of imparting higher education to a predominantly rural population, socially and educationally weaker sections of the society, and to promote the Punjabi Language. The college at present caters to the rural catchments of Nabha Tehsil covering nearly 50 villages in the surrounding vicinity covering an area of nearly 25 kilometers radius with an approximate population of 1 lakh.

The college is located in a semi-urban area. It offers a wide range of courses and programmes in Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) classes. It offers four UG Programs in B.A., B.Com. B.Sc. (Non-Medical), B.Sc. (Medical) and three PG Programmes in English, Economics, Political Science. The college also offers vocational course in Tax Procedure and Practices at the UG level. The institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and 12(b).The college possesses a campus covering 14 acres of land.
