About College

Guru Nanak Dev University College , Narot Jaimal Singh is a centre of learning that promotes academic excellence. This college has been established in 2011 as a constituted college under the management of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. It is an institution with the speacious, airy and sprawling campus covering 12.5 acres land with four blocks and cortyards with beautiful lawns and play grounds. 

The land of this college was doneted by Panchayat of Narot Jaimal Singh cunstructed by PWD Dept. This College is situated jst 10KM away from Indo-Pak border and 25KM away from J & K Border. It is surrounted by the snow covered beautiful Dhauladhar hills of the J & K far from madding crowd and pollution of the city. The newly constructed ultra modern building is conductiv for academic pursuits. 

The well equipped Science Block and well furnished Arts block are the top priority. Wings of his college have Arts, Science/Computers and Commerece faculties. This establishment is a result of united effort of UGC, Government of Punjab and Guru nanak Dev University, Amritsar. We already have Government, Semi-Government and Private Colleges. But this college is under new scheme with special purpose of raising the standard of higher education especially in rural area. This is the only college of its kind in Pathankot and Gurdaspur District.
