Indrayani Mahavidyalaya (Arts and Com.)

Indrayani Mahavidyalaya, a premier institute of this region in higher education had established in 1968 with efforts of Late Prin. Dr.M.M. Altekar, who was the first principal & founder secretary of this college from 1968 to 1985, well-known  personalities like late Acharya P.K.Atre, Late Wrangler Dr. G.S. Mahajan and  Late  Balasaheb Desai, Ex.Finance Minister of the state, Late Vasantrao Vaidya Industrialist, Late Mamasaheb Mohol Educationist  & Late G.P.Pradhan etc. blessed this institution.

     From 1968 to 1984 the classes were conducted in the campus of Talegaon Dabhade General Hospital, Talegaon Dabhade.Intially the classes were conducted in the hospital premises. In the year 1985 it was shifted to the present premises. The location of college is situated on the Talegaon Dabhade- Chakan Road, Talegaon Dabhade. The college is 1.5 k.M away from Talegaon Dabhade Railway station. It is spread over a vast area of 15 acres entirely owened by the parent body i.e. Indrayani Vidya Mandir.
