About College

The primary objective of the society is the instruction and dissemination of useful knowledge for the development of Road Transport Institutions. The aim of IRT is to provide and promote education in disciplines including Engineering, Medicine and to establish and run the hospitals, dispensaries and other diagnostic and therapeutic centers.

The Institute of Road Transport was established in the year 1976 by the Tamil Nadu Road Transport and registered as a society under  the Societies Registration Act XX1 of 1860 and classified as “UN – AIDED NON - MINORITY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE” shall be entirely applicable to this society.The IRT – Perundurai Medical College and Hospital, Perundurai is located in a lush green landscape of 350 acres, which is 20 kms west of Erode on the Erode – Coimbatore Highway which provides the Greenland and healthy environment.
