J.K.K.Nattraja College of Engineering and Technology

J.K.K.Nattraja College of Engineering and Technology, Namakkal was established in 2008. The College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It aims to develop and implement a comprehensive Human Resources plan, to include recruitment, professional development, retention and succession plans that attract qualified staff and faculty and ensure that they remain contemporary in their respective roles and disciplines. The vision of the college is to provide the most empowering educational experience possible for its diverse student body, and within this context, to be the region’s magnet school for engineering education. To enable this vision, the College has implemented a Strategic Plan for the evolution of key curricular and research areas, a plan designed to coincide with critical emerging technologies in the region including bioengineering and nanotechnology, computer engineering and information technology, advanced materials, and environmental engineering. The mision of the college is to provide an encouraging environment to develop the intellectual capacity, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving ability of its students so that they may become honorable, contributing, and forward-thinking members of the engineering community of the Area and beyond; to foster a conducive environment for scholarly and creative activities so that new knowledge or solutions to problems are discovered or created; and to provide science education to all students in the college so that they may be equipped to succeed in the modern world.

J.K.K.Nattraja College of Engineering and Technology has separate hostels for Boys and Girls inside the campus, with well furnished and spacious rooms. The hostels have excellent water facility, modern kitchen and dining. The students are provided with the choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The rooms are furnished with individual cots, tables, chairs, and bureau. Importance is given in maintaining discipline and security of the students. The placement cell of  J.K.K. Institute is constituted to provide the right perspective regarding the various career options available to the students and sufficiently train them to choose and pursue their careers of choice. The training program encompasses a three stage process to train the students to make them ready for the industry and develop the etiquettes of the corporate world. The placement department supports students with resources and ideas, a database, notification of new placements etc. The college committed to the total upliftment of the society by imparting quality professional education, aiming at modeling totally competent professionals with ingenuity, adaptability, social commitment and ethical spiritual values by creating a congenial academic ambience that kindles innovative thinking, continually upgrade the quality management system through empowerment and involvement.
