JR Polytechnic was started in the year 2010 after having secured permission from the Govt. of Tamil Nadu and AICTE, Delhi.It caters to students who have passed the standard X and desire to get into the Engineering profession in the five branches of Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications and Civil Engineering.

The College boasts of an infrastructure that matches the best Colleges in Trichy & is supported by a sound backing of the Board of Directors who are themselves Engineering professionals. The three year diploma course lays a lot of emphasis on practical work.
