SND College of Engineering was started in 2006, and was inaugurated by Narendrabhau Darade, who was the then Chairman of the Nasik bank, under the auspices of the JES. Courses in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering branches were started first. In 2011, SND College of Engineering produced its first graduating class.

The establishment of the S.N.D. College of Engineering & Research Center in 2006-07 stimulates the ascendance of plateau of achievement of academic excellence, in dissemination of quality education from preprimary to collegiate level by Jagadamba Education Society, ensconced at Yeola, by Honarable Shri. Narendrabhau Darade in 1991. SND College Of Engineering & Research Center, Babhulgaon established in 2006-07 is located on Nasik-Aurangabad Dhule- Shirdi highway about 20 kms .from Manmad Jn. Centarl Railway Station. The campus is spread over natural landscape of 150 Arces. The site is very healthy & beautiful & being away from city atmosphere is free from pollution. SND College of Engineering & Research Center, Babhulgaon is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & Directorate of Technical Education Mumbai. All the degree courses in Engineering offered by the institute are Affiliated to Universtiy Of Pune
