Kakasaheb Chavan College

Kakasaheb Chavan College was established at Talmavale in the remote, hilly and earthquake prone area of Patan Taluka of Satara district, Maharashtra by, Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha, Kolhapur in order to provide an opportunity for the students in the vicinity of the Wang Valley. Since its establishment, the College has been working for the overall development of the students. There are only two streams: Arts and Commerce. Along with that the College provides the facility of studying IT through its computer centre.

The students who are deprived of education dueto unavoidable circumstances, they are given an opportunity to pursue their academic career throu-gh the study centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik.
