Kakatiya Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is affiliated to the Kakatiya University, Warangal in 2007, while UGC (University Grants Commission) has included the college in the list of colleges prepared under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and declared that the Institute is fit to receive Central assistance under section 12 (b) of the UGC Act, 1956, Kakatiya Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is approved by AICTE.
