Kamala Institute of Technology & Science pursuance with the policies of the Government of India to start Engineering colleges in emerging technologies in rural areas, Kamala Institute of Technology and Science (K.I.T.S) was established at Singapur, Huzurabad (mandal) Karimnagar (Dist.) - 505 468 in Andhra Pradesh state, India during the academic year 1997-98. Vidvaan Sarvatra Pujyante forms the guiding spirit and motto of the Institute. Kamala Institute of Technology & Science is affiliated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical university (JNTU) with the approval of All India Council For Techniacal Education(AICTE),New Delhi. The Kamala Institute of Technology & Science has premises sprawling over 19.8 hectares (50 acres). The campus is about 5 km from Huzurabad and is located at midway on Waragnal-Karimnagar State Highway. The campus has well established roads bordered by high grown trees. Wide lawns and beautiful rose gardens are developed which enhance the aesthetic charm of the campus.

In pursuance with the policies of the Government of India to start Engineering colleges in emerging technologies in rural areas, Kamala Institute of Technology and Science was established at Singapur, in Andhra Pradesh. Vidvaan Sarvatra Pujyante forms the guiding spirit and motto of the Institute. The college offers a three years Master of Computer Application programme with an intake of 60 students. The department is having profound staff and highly sophisticated laboratories with all facilities including Internet facility
