Karpagam College of Engineering was established in 2000 by the Karpagam Charitable Trust. Karpagam College of Engineering with its impressive infrastructure backed by the most contemporary lab equipped with highly sophisticated equipment are testimony to its uniqueness.The institution offers graduate and post-graduate courses in many disciplines of Engineering and Technology.

The Karpagam Charity Trust was formed in the year 1989 with the aim of providing good educational facilities to the people of the area, catering to the needs of the poor and serving the society in general through charitable deeds. The College is located at Mayileripalayam village near Othakkalmandapam, 16 kms. from Coimbatore. The city is known to be the hub of education, with some of the most premier institutes in the Southern part of India. It is well accessible by all means of transportation, to the major cities across India. Located over a 36-acre campus, the college houses nearly 400000 sq.ft. of buildings.
