Khalsa College of Law, Amritsar is being run by historic Khalsa College Charitable Society (1892), which is successfully managing 17 educational institutions of par-excellence. The College has been started on the popular demand from border areas for a value-based law studies and education and it vows to emerge as a quality based Centre of Excellence in legal arena.

The KCL has been opened to provide higher education with the focus on trans-formative education in the context of globalization. To provide opportunities for educational, vocational, professional, social and cultural development to the students of all abilities and backgrounds so that they can discover their potential and fulfill their aspirations.
