Kumaran College Of Medical Sciences And Research Institute was established in the year 2000 which is approved by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu by its G.O. No.292 dated11.08.2000 Recognised by the Tamilnadu Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council in the premises of Kumaran Hospital, 17/24,I East main road, Gandhi Nagar, Vellore-6. The School was shifted in the year 2010 to our own spacious campus at 112, Katpadi Road, Kalinjur, Gandhi Nagar Post, Vellore-6 with all modern facilities. The institute has highly qualified and experienced teaching staff who offer individual attention and motivate students to deliver their best. And it is equipped with excellent infrastructure like classrooms, labs & hostel as per the INC norms. This institute is sponsered by “Dr.T. Kumaraguru and Mrs.Mayilambigai Kumaraguru Trust”, as educational and community oriented centre of excellence.
