Dr. Annasaheb G.D.Bendale Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalgaon was established in the year 1984,with the sole aim of fulfilling the educational needs of the womenfolk of this part of Maharashtra. Being predominantly agrarian and tribal,the populace in and around these parts are an academically challenged, if not backward lot ; and the women more so.

In circumstances as these ,the college has been a paragon of women empowerment and emancipation,providing value-based and vocational education with evangelists zeal.
