Mallamma Marimallappa Women's Arts and Commerce College aims at the full-fledged development of young women enabling them to live a richer life , fulfilling their individual and social responsibilities.  Since the college focuses on women empowerment , the entire activities ( academic , curricular , co-curricular and extra-curricular ) centre around this main objective.  By catering to a student population that hails from rural and semi urban background , special efforts are taken to evaluate them at the entry level to gauge their potential and to achieve possible level of competence.

Value education is rendered through spiritual formation sessions. Efforts are taken to foster harmonious relationship and sense of relatedness to the environment and to make them aware of current environmental hazards. The Vision of this college is to to empower women by providing education that sustains universal and eternal values oriented towards unity and integration of people , keeping aside gender , caste and class distinctions.
