About College

M.S.P.Velayutha Nadar Lakshmithaiammal Polytechnic College was established on 14th August 1985 by the dedicated and service minded Thiru M.S.P.V. Kaliappan and Thiru M.S.P.V.Perianan in honour and memory of their parents Late Sri M.S.P Velayutha Nadar & Srimathi Lakshmithaiammal, to serve the rural based students in the most backward area of Tirunelveli District and this institution commenced its excellent service on 30th September 1985.It is Co-educational and self-financing Institution, offering three years Diploma students.
The Polytechnic college continues to carry on providing quality education as an educational service to the rural people of this part of Tamilnadu. It fulfills all the requisite facilities demanded by the Directorate of Technical Education.All the Diploma Courses are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education as per the norms of the Tamilnadu Government adopting curricular and evaluation system stipulated by State Board of Technical Education, Chennai.Our Institution is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified by internationally accredited certification from BSI management system.
