Multani Mal Modi College

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala was established in 1967.The Multani Mal Modi College volunteered to be assessed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college prepared the self-study report and presented the same to the council. The council constituted a peer team under the chairmanship of Prof. Satya Prakash, Vice-Chancellor, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Dr, S.K. Dhawan former Joint Director of Education Himachal Pradesh, Member Coordinator and Dr. U. Subbaro, Former Director Student Services, Dr. Ambedkar Open University, Hydrabad as Member.The college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and it is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(B) in 1970.

The students are admitted to various classes on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination. The knowledge and skills of the students are tested by conducting class tests, house tests and special tests. The college has also started bridge/remedial courses for the educationally disadvantageous students. Special attention is paid to the girl students from weaker sections.The college has a grievance-redressing cell, career guidance cell and enrolls students in NSS and NCC to carryout community welfare programs. The college also has the NCC Air Wing Unit where the girls actively participate.
