Nagaland College of Teacher Education

Nagaland College of Teacher Education, Kohima is a premiere institute of education in the region and offers Bachelor of Education programme. Established in 1975, the college is a result of joint efforts of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and the State Government. The college has been shouldered with a responsibility of faculty development, for the department of higher education.

Affiliated to Nagaland University, the college has conducted various refresher level courses for teachers of college and +2 levels, apart from the B.Ed course. Nagaland College of Teacher Education is also a study centre of IGNOU and is offering 30 new courses along with distance learning B.Ed programme. The college has now equipped itself with all necessary facilities.
