Occupational Therapy School and Centre , Govt. Medical College is first centre in India where Occupational Therapy and Physio Therapy School was started. This medical college had first Cobalt Unit in whole state of Maharashtra. It also got the first C.T. Scanner in whole of the State of Maharashtra.

The college is offering in addition to under graduation, the post graduation is available in almost all the disciplines. The Hospital attached to this institution has 1401 bed with updated facilities and beside Medical College and Hospital and Super Specialty Hospital, the campus incorporates Dental College, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing Schools.
