Punjab Institute of Management and Technology, Punjab was established in 1997. This is the first Institute conducting post graduate course in Management in the state of Punjab with 60 seats. The Institute has started MCA programme in 1998 with 30 seats. Over the decade, institute has transformed into the Centre of Excellence and is imparting Quality Technical Education and running courses like MBA. Their  Vision is to develop into a systematic leader and pivot for excellence in technical education sector in the state and catalyzing absorption, innovation, diffusion and transfer of high technology for improved productivity, quality of life and empowerment. The Institute's  mission is to produce quality manpower equipped with such human and social values required to integrate excellent technical skills, leadership, creativity and innovation for the benefit of man kind.
