The KSR Educational & Charitable Trust has been formed by a noted philanthropist and social activist Thiru. K.Subburaj who is known for his professional ethics in the filed of Building Construction.Its main aim is to educate rural folk in the field of techincal education and make them employable. 

The Campus of SSR Polytechnic College spreads over to 15 acres and even for the first year,there is a built-up area of 45,000 square feet with modern facilities. The management has taken a good decision to provide the state the state-of -the art facilities. To Quote,the computer lab has been excellently established with 24 hours internet. As of now the library has more than 2000 books and it has national and international journals on technical education. The College has excellent dedicated and committed faculty members.
