Sacred heart College of Nursing is run by The Congregation of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (registered on 20/ /03/1980 with the registrar of the societies TN). The Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SSHJ) is an indigenous, religious Congregation, founded by Rev.Mother. Scholastica, SSHJ, in the year 1952 in Tamil Nadu, South India. The Congregation has gracefully completed 60 years of service in India and abroad marching ahead in the service of humanity.

Sacred Heart College of Nursing, Dindigul, is a premier institution of higher education affiliated to the M.G.R University, Chennai, India. Established in 2012 by Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SSHJ).
