Sara Nursing college had its inception in 1995, which offers various nursing programs, (i.e) General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), B.Sc (N) and M.Sc (N) Program. It is situated at the midst of the Twin cities Erode and Coimbatore towards North and West, the temple city Madurai at the East and hill city Kodaikanal the South. It is in very close vicinity to the great temple of Lord Muruga at Palani. The history of this college dates batch to the date 21st century. It had its small beginning as a school of ‘Nursing with 20 students for General Nursing and Midwifery program.

In 1995 it had added to its feather and B.Sc Nursing program with the Government sanctioning for 50 students. It got its recognition by the Indian Nursing Council. It was affiliated by Dr.M.G.R. Medical University Chennai, TamilNadu. The next development that had taken place is the M.Sc (N) programme, with three Speciality namely Medsurgical, Padiatric and Obstetric and Gynaecology nursing and with the intake of eight students. Its growing day by day.
