SBRR Mahajana First Grade College

SBRR Mahajana First Grade College , the college is a UGC recognized institution. The college has the distinction of being the first institution to be accredited and re - accredited by NAAC among the affiliated colleges of the university. The college offers courses in all the major streams, though, Commerce and Business Management courses stand out as most sought-after courses. The college caters to all sections of the society including non-Karnataka and Overseas students.

There are about 169 overseas students from 10 countries studying in the college. The college with its nationalistic stand, pro-people approach, humane values and student centred administration has been emerging as a centre of excellence in the field of higher education. The college has well-equipped laboratories for Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Criminology and Forensic Science, Psychology, Geography, Bio-technology, Biochemistry and Microbiology.

A Commerce Lab is also setup to facilitate teaching Commerce and Management subjects.The library is housed in a separated wing and has a collection of about 25,527 books, leading Journals and Periodicals numbering 90 including a few  International journals Harvard Business Review and German News.
