About College

This school of nursing is located in the campus of  Govt.Head quarters Hospital,Kancheepuram. It was established in January 2004. Two batches of general nursing and midwifery students have completed under this diploma program and passed from this institution successfully. Now at present three batches are here undergoing training with an intake of 50 students in each.The fourth batch consisting of 5 students has been placed by the govt from the TAHDCO for the upliftment of their community.

The four batches of students from the year 2004 to 2007 wee undergoing a training period of 3 years.but from this year onwards (i.e) from 2008 the diploma program has been increased to 3 ½ years with 6 months internship period.The school function with a principal of MSC., qualification and teaching experience of 10 years.there is also a vice principal and 15 faculties contributing of their teaching service to enrich the knowledge of their students.
