About College

Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences ( SIMS ) located on B.H.Road near the Bus Stand in Shimoga is an autonomous institute of the Government of Karnataka. It is the only Medical College in Shimoga City. Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences and its attached hospital have a total land area of about 50 acres. Admission to this college is exclusively through state and national level entrance tests.
