About College

With a mind view of educating women and making them presentable in front of the society renamed Shri Mahalakshmi Shikshan Sansthan, Jodhpur (Shri Mahalakshmi Kanya Pathshala) was established in 1920 by Shri Maheshwari Samaj, Jodhpur. The unit has effort in education women and shaping future and lifting women status.
Till date list of achievements are innumerable like opening Shri Mahalakshmi Balika Senior Secondary School, Lakshmi Devi Mundra Public Scholl (English Medium), Shri Mahalakshmi Mahila Shikshan Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Shri Mahalakshmi Mahila BSTC and Shri Mahalakshmi Girls College (BA & B.Com).

Opening of the B.Ed. College are yet achievement, having its way towards the same path to innovate concepts are to be materialized. In coming future, the forthcoming plans of the unit are to open a post graduate degree and further to open a technical college providing diploma and degree.
