Sri Nagoji Rao Memorial Sharada Oriental Educational Society is one of the pioneering educational institutions in the district. Hailed as one of the best innovative, quality institutions, the Nagoji rao society has been in the forefront of efforts to disseminate knowledge by setting up new educational institutions from time to time according to the needs of the people.The society has been running a number of educational institutions, from LKG to post-graduation and Teacher Educational Institutions, thus contributing its mite to the social and educational development of the district for the last 30 years.

The new jewel in the crown of the society is the Sri Nagoji rao Institute of Technology and Science (Women), coming up from this academic year (2009-10). The college has the distinction of being the first women's engineering college in the entire district. The society has decided to establish an engineering college exclusively for girl students in the wake of horrifying incidents of harassment, attacks and other abominable crimes against women in various parts of the state. Exclusive women's college goes a long way in sparing women of the agony and psychological stress of coping with harassment by male students and enable them to focus on their studies and achieving excellent academic results.

The Nagoji rao society heartily appreciates the valuable advice and guidance provided by eminent and experienced educationists in realising the project of setting up a first women's engineering and science college of exceptionally higher standards in the district. We also warmly take note of and cherish the enthusiastic support and appreciation extended by the parents to the setting up of this college.

In establishing the Sri Nagoji rao Institute of Technology and Science (Women), we see our mission as cleansing the educational system of evils that afflict the women in the educational system and empower them women to gain equal status on par with men in the society in all fields. Having fully aware of the importance of education for women, we reiterate our commitment to strive for making the students best among the fraternity and hone them to face any challenge in their careers.Located on a sprawling campus between Mahaboobnagar and Jadcherla, the college can boast of best-equipped laboratories, classrooms, pleasant ambience and dedicated, experienced faculty which is next to none.
