To reach out the masses in the countryside and see them leading a happy and cheerful life has been a long cherished dream of my life. Such a dream can be transformed into reality only if the million of people living in the rural areas were educated in the field of technology. To give a concrete shape to this vision and for the welfare of common people, a great venture was made that resulted in the form of establishment of Sri Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic College, Chennimalai in the year of 2008.

In the era of liberalization and globalization, Indian Industry is exposed to competition from all over the world. Keeping in view the vast potential of industrial development in the state of TamilNadu, a dire need was felt to produce technically skilled & competent manpower of the highest quality capable of effectively meeting the global challenges. I extend a warm welcome to the students in having decided to join Sri Rajiv Gandhi polytechnic College. They will find themselves in very conductive environment for their academic pursuit.
