SSD Girls College

SSD College was founded in the year 1967 by Dr.Walaiti Ram Bansal under the aegis of Sanatan Dharam Sabha isnow one of the best known colleges of Punjab. It is affiliatedto Punjabi University, Patiala. Situated in the heart of thecity, it spreads over an area of 5 acres. It has seventeen lecturetheaters, 3 triple storeyed hostels with a capacity to accommodate300 students, excellent Home Science and Home Management Labs,a spacious and rich library equipped with 40000 books.

Being a premier institution of higher education for girls,the college enjoys a good reputation. It has well experiencedand qualified staff and caring Managing Committee.
