Texcity College of Nursing is managed by Texcity Medical and Educational Trust which was formed in 1992 to impart quality medical education and training.Texcity Medical & Educational Trust is a Charitable Organization working for the improvement of moral, social, cultural Physical and Educational Values of the community.

Desiring as its goal and main objective to extend its medical and educational services to the society by establishing and constructing their own hospital to begin with 50-100 beds, a charity hospital to build in due course a 500 bedded multi disciplinary corporate hospital under the name and style as Taxcity Medical Centre and Hospital Coimbatore.It ensures an excellent teaching programme by well qualified and committed faculty, to students of higher caliber offering through well designed curricular and co-curricular activities for the optimum personal and professional development with the maximum use of available facilities and learning resources through continuous assessment of teaching learning activities.

As an exemplary institution of learning follows an admission policy that strongly favors merit, even as it enables access to education for students from all strata of society through appropriate scholarships. The Institution boasts of a strong alumni network with alumni events held every year serving as a platform for past students to give back to share their experiences with its present fellow students.
