“A long as we live so long do we learn” As per the words of the true disciple of Shri Ramakrishna Parama Hamsar Vivekanandar, 

my father Late. Shri A.Senapathi Gounder founded Sri Ramakrishna Nallammai Trust with a noble idea of imparting education to 

deserving persons irrespective of the community and caste. Thiru Ramakrishna Nallammai Polytechnic College is one among the 

best self financing colleges started in Tamilnadu.

The Polytechnic College has full-fledged infrastructure facilities, such as Buildings, Laboratories and Library along with 

efficient, dedicated and highly qualified faculty to provide much needed practical oriented technical education to the 

students. The college has training and placement facilities. Most of the out gone students have been well placed in pioneer

Thiru RamaKrishna Nallammai Ploytecnic College, started in the year 1985 and run by the thiru Ramakrishna nallammai 

polytechnic educational trust and research foundation is location at Kamarajapuram, 3 kms from Dharapuram with the congenial 

and well-developed college campus.

Under the able guidance and maintained by Secretary & Managing Trustee, the College has developed excellent facilities and 

resources such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well equipped laboratories, workshops, well-stocked libraries, 

dedicated high speed broadband Internet connectivity and well-qualified faculty.

The Institution has also established a research centre to carry our innovative research in Logical Image processing and 

Nanoelectronics. In the past three years around 175 research papers have been published in Journals and conferences by the 

teachers and around 500 technical papers have been presented in various Symposiums by the students. A comprehensive 

accidental insurance scheme covers all the staff, students and their parents.

The value of the education and training imparted by the college is highlighted by interest shown by leading companies for 

on-campus recruitment. An exclusive placement cell with interview rooms, training rooms, Group discussion room and 

Examination halls is established with all the modern facilities.


With the dawn of independence, importance has been laid on imparting quality education in the country, as good education 

alone will help people to rise up in various walks of life. The government alone will not be able to develop education 

exclusively in the public sector and hence has entrusted organizations to shoulder some of its responsibilities.
With the above background, Meenakshi Ammal Trust was founded in the year 1983 as a public charitable and educational trust by 

Mrs. Meenakshi Ammal, a true philanthropist.The aim of the trust is to provide education to the poor students by starting 

various educational institutions to spread knowledge, to promote and advance the cause of education and the Indian Culture by 

running Schools, Engineering, Medical, Dental and Paramedical Institutions, Hospitals, Libraries, Hostels and similar 

institutions for the benefit of the public.
The trust institutes awards, scholarships, grants and aids to Indian citizens for study and research in the fields of 

education, Indian culture and fine arts, and makes contribution for the relief of the poor, aged and handicapped.Further 

Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research Trust was formed on 14th June 2004. Ever since the establishment of the 

trust, it has grown from a humble beginning to the status of Deemed University - University of Meenakshi Academy of Higher 

Education and Research with an impressive complex of educational institutions reputed for its quality of teaching imparted to 

hundreds of talented and deserving students by eminent and dedicated teaching faculty.
Today Meenakshi University is marching towards a golden future with the members of the trust functioning with missionary zeal 

and dedication, striving to establish more educational institutions and hospitals towards the betterment of mankind.In this 

march towards the glorious academic revolution, establishing Vani Vidyalaya in the year 2002 was a proud moment and landmark 

in the history of the Meenakshi Ammal Trust.
